The Drama ends: Housing.com fires its CEO Rahul Yadav, saying his behaviour is not befetting of a CEO

The board of Housing has sacked Yadav as his attitude towards the company’s investors, partners and the media was not befitting of a CEO. The board further stated that Yadav will not be associated with housing.com in any way and that they want to build further a global professional reputation.

Yadav had a very rocky relationship with investors for some time, he had put in his papers earlier following a spat with the board. In his resignation letter, he called the board members ’intellectually incapable’. Although he later withdrew his resignation and apologized for his comments which gave him the title ’Arvind Kejriwal’ of Startups. He created another drama when he announced to give up all his shares to employees and asked other startup founders Deepinder Goyal of Zomato and Bhavish Aggarwal of Ola Cabs to follow suit. Recently he snapped a picture of Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka sleeping on a couch saying he didnt answer his questions. There were many other incidences which catched some eyes and putting their brand and the entire startup ecosystem in a bad light.

He was asked to leave immediately from the office premises, but Yadav in his unfazed and sarcastic manner reacted on his Facebook account: "[In a nutshell] Board: CEO title of Housing.com. Take that away then what are you? Me: A Genius Billionaire (in INR) Philanthropist."

Well from this entire season of incidences, all we can say is : "Talent, Intelligence and Passion are good to have, but thinking that you are the only who has it can make you cross the thin line of difference between Confidence and Arrogance"
