The luxury and sports car maker BMW launched its two latest
models the 2015 BMW X5 M and 2015 BMW X6
M models in Chennai on Thursday(15th Oct) priced at approximately Rs.1.55
Cr and 1.6 Cr (Ex-showroom) respectively.

“Inspired by motorsport, M is one of the most coveted badges
and has shaped the history of performance automobiles. The next chapter will
begin now with the all-new BMW X5 M and the all-new BMW X6 M raising the bar
for high-performance sports cars with highly emotive design, increased output
and outstanding efficiency,” as told by the president of BMW Group India.
These latest models are inspired by the combined
characteristics of the BMW X series and Motorsport M series. They are powered
by the M Twinpower turbocharged V8 petrol engine producing a maximum torque of
750Nm, it can reach from 0 to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds and the maximum speed that
can be reached is 250 Km/h.
BMW India has already launched its exclusive M studio in
Mumbai which is dedicated specially for the Motorsport ‘M’ series where these
models would be available and plans to expand to 7 other cities including
Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad.
