Misconceptions About Delhi-ites

Delhi, being the capital of India gives a license to all the states to create some dogmas about it. All around India, there are things you hear about Delhi which is common but WRONG! Until the time you haven’t been in the city, you don’t know its story!

Here are some DOGMA’S that needs to be questioned now!

#1. DELHI-ITES DON’T HAVE A DRIVING SENSE

Trust me, if you learnt driving in Delhi, You’ll be able to drive anywhere in India and Well that makes us a good driver!

#2. DELHI-ITES ARE MATERIALISTIC

What if, I tell you being classy doesn’t mean being Materialistic. We might love Gucci, Zara, LV. But we know things beyond it too, forgot about Lajpat and Sarojini?

#3. WE’RE ABUSIVE IN EVERYTHING, WE DON’T NEED REASON, AND WE’RE JUST ABUSIVE

That’s again Wrong, We just have a little obsession with the word “BC”   and trust me we most probably don’t mean it!

#4. WE ARE RICH SPOILED BRATS (BIGDAE AULAD)

But which city doesn’t have them? Like every city, we have people struggling hard. Don’t generalise us with just a few people!

#5. DELHI GIRLS ARE HIGH MAINTENANCE

Oh well, we are just way too ambitious for you! We have big dreams and we are hard to deal with, so if you couldn’t get any Delhi girl, call yourself low not us high maintained!

#6. DELHI-ITES ARE A BUNCH OF ALCOHOLICS!

I am sorry, but partying over the weekend after a hard week is everyone’s birthright! We won’t judge you. Come party with us!

#7. DELHI-ITES LOVE TO SHOW OFF

YAYAY! We have the stuff to show! And dude, that depends on person to person!

#8. WE USE SLANGS!

That isn’t slang, that’s our language we use it daily, that is how we speak!

#9. LASTLY, WE ARE ARROGANT AF!

No, No!
We are sweet and loving people. But yeah we’ll surely get offended if you didn’t share this post ;)

People we are as loving as you are, stop judging us!
Dilli toh dil walo ka shahar hai!
Pyar se baat karoge, pyar milega, gussa dikhaoge toh gali hi milegi!
