The first step is to be prepared. Make a plan, at first, of the things you need, the events you are going to have and everything the party needs and demands. A perfectly pre-planned party will give you a smooth and stress-free sailing. Have an idea of the different aspects of the party such as food, events, music et al, all drawn and planned out. It will give you a straight path to follow with fewer chances of mistakes and of forgetting things.
# Tasty Snacks and Good Lightning
Light up some nice scenting candles, lamps, and artificial lightning and it will set just the right mood. If you are in doubt when or how to start the party, do not worry as low and nice lightning will do it in itself for your party. Get some cocktails going and an amazing round of appetizers to gorge on. Actually, turn the lights down a little more than what you think is appropriate. It will give the feel of coziness, lightness, and warmth.
# Fill the Void
No one likes a silent party. Fill the pauses with some heart warming or if you like with some peppy music to keep everyone and everything lively. Whenever there is a lull in the conversations, start an interesting game that everyone can enjoy and indulge in. Music just makes people going on, so better have it on a loop with some interesting beats to get your party going.
# Think of Everything
Being a host you have to be careful and keep in mind of different things. Have enough availability of food, get some events going on for adults and if kids present, to keep them occupy too. If some of your guests spent the night at your house, be prepared to offer them the bed and linen to make them comfortable.
