Does The Future Of Indian Cricket Team Looks Bright?

Cricket has ruled the hearts of people all over the world. Cricket has not only grabbed the attention of its fans all over the world but also raised a cricketing talent of many nations. People all over the world enjoy themselves watching cricket and the real fanatic has a passion for knowing cricket. Playing and watching do not seem to satisfy their quest for cricket. For Indian Cricket fan;

“Cricket is not a game, It’s a religion.”

India has made a mark in the world in this game by producing world class players like Sachin Tendulkar, Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and much more. But now, the responsibility to carry this game forward has been passed to the shoulders of the young generation. Young talents like MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, R. Ashwin have marched a step forward to make their country proud in the cricket field. Undoubtedly, all of them have excelled in their respective areas, whether it’s bowling or batting and have glorified Indian cricket status at an International level. But a guy that has stood tall when it comes to competing and showing his skills consistently with grace and persona is a young lad from Delhi – VIRAT KOHLI.

Kohli's consistency in all the three formats of cricket isn't an accident, it’s a complete mixture of his determination, hard work, perseverance and his love for the sport. He made his ODI debut for India against Sri Lanka at the age of 19 and since then he never looked back. He has a jaw-dropping average in all 3 formats.

Average in ODI: 50.11
Average in Test: 52.94
Average in T20: 57.17

Isn’t these fixtures mind-blowing for a 28-year old cricketer?

Trust me it takes more than a talent to score with such consistency in the field. Kohli is compared with the legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Don Bradman etc. which is itself a proof of his capabilities. He was often compared with Indian great- Sachin Tendulkar by Indian media, although both played a different brand of cricket in the field. Currently, he is the best cricketer not only in India but also in the cricket world.
He is a special talent and he works hard on his game. His discipline and commitment have to be emulated. He visualizes different formats without ever compromising on his technique. In addition, he is very strong mentally and thrives in pressure situations,
