OMG!! It's Monday Again?? Dear God, please make it Friday

I have to be alone very often. I'd be quite happy if I spent from Saturday night until Monday morning alone in my apartment. That's how I refuel.

– Audrey Hepburn

Ah! Monday blues. Well… the Sunday ends too soon. Monday starts, I literally snail to work. The time passes slowly on Mondays. It seems the day is about to end, but when I look up to see the clock; it is just 3 o’ clock in the afternoon! Yet 5 hours to go home! But, experience the sheer happiness when the day finally comes to an end. It is a feeling of accomplishment, ‘Yes! We survived Monday!’.

Then the Tuesday arrives. It starts to feel that the mid of week is about to arrive and gives a new hope to survive the whole week! Tuesdays pass pretty fast because there is a hope of Wednesday to arrive fast!

Wednesday arrives and the day is happy. Everything and everyone is happy. Friday is just around the corner.  Just need to survive Thursday and yeah half Wednesday is finished thinking about Fridays!

Thursday arrives and the week seems to drag itself! Come on! Get over you week!! It has been three days since I last met Saturday and Sunday!! Somehow managed to survive Thursday.

Finally, Friday arrives! The floor is happy! It’s all colorful. Everybody is looking forward to the weekend to start. The day is passing by pretty decent, work wise and time wise too. Everybody make plans for weekends and try to sneak out early so that they could spend a longer a weekend with their friends and family. The whole floor buzzes with peoples’ sounds.

Saturday and Sunday arrive! But, the time passes so fast that till the time one realizes that the weekend has finally started, it is about to get over. In fact, it is almost over! Sunday is the laziest day of the week. Banks are closed, most of the shops are closed or they open late. Till the time one thinks to get out of the bed and start to do weekend-due-jobs, the day is almost over.

It's not that we spend five days looking forward to just two (sometimes it is…). It's that most people do what they enjoy most on those two days. Imagine living a life where every day is your Saturday and Sunday. Make every day your weekend. Make every day a play-day.
