7 of the Coolest Tech From CES 2017

Inaugurated on 24 June 1967, The Consumer Electronics Show (commonly known as CES) - An annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association. It is held in January at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Nevada, United States. This event hosts presentations of new products and technologies in the consumer electronics industry.

Top products of CES 2k17:

1. Asus Zenfone AR

Screen size: 5.7 inch Super AMOLED
Resolution: 2560 x 1440 pixels
Processor: Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 821 processor, optimized for Tango

Asus launched its first Tango-based smartphone. It also has Daydream Google VR. The phone has a full metal frame that wraps around the entire perimeter of the phone. This smartphone has- Sony IMX sensor-based 23 MP camera. Along with that, it has 8GB of RAM and Snapdragon 821. Expected release date is March 2017. Get more info here: ZenFone AR


2. Samsung smart clothing

Smart clothing is really a different concept which has already buzzed in CES 2017. Samsung had more than gaming laptops. Smart textiles are fabrics that have been developed with new technologies that provide added value to the wearer. The South Korean tech giant showcased- smart clothing, NFC tag suit, purse with Solar panel and Belt to keep track of footsteps.


3. LG Signature ‘Wallpaper’ thin TV

Display is only 2.57 mm thick – that's 1/10th of an inch

LG launched its W-series (Wallpaper) TV which is just as thick as the width of a key. The TV will be available in 65-inch and 77-inch screen sizes. It does not require backlighting and company speak that it has increased brightness than previous products. LG says to make it available in the market from April 2017.


4. Sony Bravia XBR-A1E Bravia 4K OLED TV

It is very thin but not same as LG 's W -series. It has no conventional speakers anywhere and the device’s screen resonates with the sound, making you feel like it's originating from the screen itself, which increases excitement to have this product. It also has  Dolby vision HDR and chip, powers the whole thing.


5. Razer Project Valerie

Razer showcased ‘Project Valerie’ at CES 2017 which is world's first triple screen (display) laptop. This project of Razer has triple 4K resolution screen. According to Razer, its upcoming laptop will have an automated deployment system for two additional displays when a gamer opens the laptop. In this user can take advantage of each display independently, running multiple applications simultaneously allowing for multi-tasking. More info at Project Valerie


6. Qualcomm Snapdragon 835

10 nm size of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 835 and high performance makes it more useful. It uses 35% less power and is even smaller than previous designs. The Snapdragon X16 LTE modem provides download speed up to 1 Gigabit per second. This offers smooth zoom, fast autofocus for improved image quality. More detail here Snapdragon 835


7. Razer Project Ariana

This is world's first video projection system. Project Ariana by Razer is a video projector uses an ultra-wide fisheye lens to extend a user's gaming experience to the entire room. In this project, Razer makes the game outside the screen on the walls or on the ground to give an amazing experience to the user. This uses a pair of 3D cameras. Full specs here Project Ariana
