You may be a college student or started working or anything else, if you are moving away from home and don’t have any other luxury options like companies accommodation (most of them don’t), or wealthy dads bungalow then you may have to settle down with the more economical options, which are hostels and paying guests.
Both these have in common are sharing the room with an unknown or a known person (if you are lucky enough). This opportunity will teach you all the good and bad things that comes with it. Day by day you will be knowing yourself much better as compared to living in the home. There are many aspects for which this article would be too small to explain all my experiences of living in both hostels and paying guests, but I'll try.
Here are some points that will help you decide whether you should consider sharing a room or not. Sharing a room comes with it pros-cons and can make your life miserable or much more fun depending on the kind of person you are.
You will come across people who will throw your stuff in all the ways they possibly can. This doesn’t mean that you cannot live with someone, it all boils down to how your room mate is and whether he is on the same level as you in all these above-mentioned aspects so that there won’t be any issues.

But these things are a big no-no to hostels or PGs as they have a risk of being stolen and also people will take them from you and always forget to give it back. We can’t say that they will use those gadgets with as much care as you do.
Clothes are among the most shared things when living with roommates, they may not necessarily care about the hygiene as much as you. They will use your washed and ironed clothes without even asking and return it back without even washing them.
These were only a few things to consider before deciding whether you want to share a room with someone else or you need some good private space. Because this small decision will change the way you can concentrate on your studies or the job that you have started. Paying a little bit extra for the privacy is worth it, especially if you are not a sharing room kind of a person.
Hope I have helped you or made you remember those days you spent in having fun or thinking of how to deal with these problems.
