The nearest airport to Bandhavgarh is at Jabalpur (190km). The nearest railway stations are Jabalpur (190km), Katni(102km) and Satna (120km). The best season to visit Bandhavgarh is from mid-October to June. Due to rainfall, the national park remains closed from 1st July to 15th October. There are various safari timing and safari zones.

Almost all the other tigers are the descendants of these two. Sita, a female tiger is the second most photographed tiger in the world.
