With our professional lives getting stressful, Friday evenings have become an important part of the week to de-stress ourselves and head for a peaceful weekend. While it has now become regular for the office-goers to hang out with colleagues and say goodbye to the targets and deadlines with a few drinks, let us see why the Ballantine's Out Of Office held on 9th December 2016 at Café Zoe in Mumbai was truly an extravagant affair.
First of all, the term 'Out Of Office' itself relieves so much of stress and this event truly stood up to the expectations. The venue had an incredible ambiance with cool creatives all around and those one-liners to tickle your funny bone. It started with me and my friends taking a lot of pictures in such an awesome environment and getting those memorable moments snapped. And yes, we did boast about it on Facebook.
Next came the magic of Ballantine's, with so many innovative cocktail menus, the whole atmosphere was drizzling with experiments and cheers. My favorite being the Ballantine's Tokyo and even my friends zeroed down to the same. Almost all the cocktails were unique and gave us a new experience which is very rare to find elsewhere.
Finally came the best part of the evening, Alan Clark, the Ballantine's Brand Ambassador, introduced to the stage, Vir Das and his band Alien Chutney. What followed was an enthralling session of music along with the well-renowned humor of the Stand-up comedian turned actor cum rock performer - Vir Das. Girls were going crazy to get as close as possible to the stage so they could have a better look at this amazing talent along with his band. While we were busy grooving to the splendid music these guys played, the Ballantine's Out of Office definitely proved out to be a memorable night for everyone present over there.
Café Zoe, known for it's cool and classy atmosphere served as the perfect destination for hosting this event. Vir Das closed the show by thanking Ballantine's for organizing this awesome evening. The amalgamation of Ballantine's cocktails, Vir Das with his band Alien Chutney and the comfort of Café Zoe gave all of us a party to remember.
