Although the new variant is 37 mm shorter and 15 mm narrower than the previous version, it still has been able to extract out 21 mm  more of the space between the front and the second row of seats.

The car is powered by a 333 bhp, 3.0 TFSI supercharged V6 block producing 440 Nm of torque. This comes mated to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission enabling the car to launch from 0-100 kmph in just 6.3 seconds, 1.6 seconds faster than the old Q7. The maximum speed that it can reach is 250 kmph.

Some of the other differentiating factors from the previous version:
1.     Bolder grille between the headlamps.
2.     New rectangular LED tail-lamp.
3.     New bumpers.
4.     Bose Audio system, Leather seats with electric adjustment, panoramic sunroof, a 360 degree camera and Audi’s trademark ‘Virtual Cockpit’ all digital cluster.

The car will compete against Mercedes-Benz GL-Class, BMW X5 and Volvo XC 90 and  expected to be priced slightly higher than the current model.
