Gaming is undoubtedly one of the largest and most dominant categories of videos on Youtube and the entire web. Free game capture app Forge now also includes live-stream integration functionality with Twitch and Youtube.
Forge which launched it's public beta in February also collects and records gameplay clips for sharing on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter. As told by Forge’s CEO Jaren Kim, their mission is to make “ Sharing moments from games as simple as possible”.
The new live streaming option integrates with the existing structure. Users can just hit F8, select the platform of their choice Twitch or Youtube, set a title and start playing/live-streaming. It can also send notifications to your followers on Twitter.
A lot of emphases has been laid down on the system and network auto-detection optimizers, targeting that lags during the live-streaming are minimised.
Forge has recently raised a funding of 4.5 USD mn in the month of March. The latest functionality and technical add-ons will definitely add up to the delight of the gaming lovers.
