How to play Counter Strike 1.6 on an Android device?

It’s been 13 years since Counter-Strike dominated the PC gaming parlours and the gaming freaks out there. Well, here is a good news that now you can play Counter Strike 1.6 on your Android device. All thanks to the mighty programmer Alibek Omarov who has expertise in making old PC games run on Android.

You need to have 3 pre-requisites in order to play it:
  1. A Steam account
  2. The APK file
  3. Xash3D
Steps to install the set up of Counter-Strike 13 on your Android device:
  1. Install the APK(with  omp postfix if you have a multi-core device, noomp if you have a single-core device).
  2. Install the latest Xash3D Android from GitHub
  3. Copy Cstrike and valve folders from your Steam CS1.6 installation to xash folder on SDCard
  4. Run CS16Client

Do not expect the same gaming experience of a PC version as there about 21 buttons like reload, jump, shoot , crouch etc. Also, be prepared for some noticeable video stuttering and lags while playing. But that does not undermine the magnificent accomplishment of Omarov. It also paves the way for more of our beloved games that could be played on Android in the future.
