India is a birthplace of many unique styles of art and architecture. Indian art is an art of social, political and religious influences. One of the interesting Fact about Indian paintings is that each emperor who ruled the country had different choices of art i.e. each promoted a different style. One unique thing about Indian painting is that they are usually representative or at least connected to highly significant religious or cultural events.

1. Madhubani artists created colourful masterpieces on the tree trunks to prevent deforestation. The tree trunk is painted by Madhubani art as this makes the trees look so attractive to the tourist which in turn inhibits from chopping them down.

Taj Mahal which is a symbol of love created by Mughal king Shah Jahan for his beloved Mumtaz. It is one of the seven wonders of the world.

11. Indian tattoo i.e. Mehndi or Henna is natural colouring extract that every woman applies on her hand during Hindu wedding, Hindu festivals like Diwali, Teej etc. Traditional Mehandi designs are a representation of sun on palm with the idea of “awakening the inner light”.
