Why is travelling so important in life?

As soon as anybody listens to the word 'Travel' enthusiasm comes into mind. Can you think why enthusiasm? Well, the answer is really very simple. It’s just because we humans are mobile. We have the ability to move here and there. We are capable of adjusting ourselves to the various surroundings. We have that energy to move, settle and prosper across the world.

Each and every human has this desire of travelling. But obviously only a few are there who actually follow their desire. Rest all get into this vicious cycle of daily life. As soon as a couple is married and they get a baby, their whole sole focus goes towards it. They stop thinking about themselves, their happiness, their desires but start fulfilling their child's need and dreams. Moreover, there are many who are not able to fulfil their desire of travelling due to the financial instability.

But everyone should believe that if he/she is capable of travelling then they should really do this. Because no one knows if you will manage to intake oxygen the next day or not. So live your life to the fullest. Move out and start travelling.

Every family should plan at least two trips a year. To anywhere. Travelling enhances your lifestyle. It gives you many reasons to live. It lets you know about different places, their cultures, their belief and much more. It teaches you a lot. You must travel so that in your old age when your grandchildren visit you, you have a lot of stories to tell. These stories will let your loved ones to learn and to compare their and your times.

These days college students generally form a group and travel. This is really one of the fantastic things they are doing. But still, there are many who don't go with college friends. Mere reason is their parents or family don’t allow. What I say to this is guys take one step out. Either try to convince your parents or become self-sufficient to take your own decisions wisely. Because you can never get back this energy and courage back in your whole life. Studying is important but side by side the development of your inner self is also important. Travelling will enhance you. It will give you an opportunity to open up, to make new friends, to tackle hard situations and overall to strengthen yourself.

If you are the one who goes to the college trips then help those who don't go. If you are the who don't go then become the one who goes. Get up and take your own stand. At least go once. If you like it then continue otherwise obviously your choice. And I can assure you that you will like it. Moreover, if you are the parent or grandparent then please encourage your child to go on trips and if you can't allow them to go with friends then you really need to think once. Because ultimately your child has to deal in this world and travelling can help her/him a lot.

Now I come to the older generation. Well, what I suggest is that they can visit same places they ever went in their young age. Just to notice the difference. And definitely, they will fell great to see the work done by the younger generation. They can even let us know how this place used to be earlier. We all would love to hear from you. Obviously, they have less energy but then also then can plan a trip within 2 years.

One day I asked my grandpa to visit me Chandigarh. I told him that I would love to show him my university, hostel and places where I go usually. His reply was "Beta, bahut ghum chuke hai hum. Ab tum logo ke ghumne ke din hai. Kahi jane ka mann nahi karta." After listening to this I asked "mann kyu nahi karta?" He replied "ab to bass ghar pasand hai."

Well, I understood his point. Also, he was in Army so he has travelled more than 100 places in his young life. And these days he simply tells his stories to me and whosoever comes to visit him. I don’t know if this is the case with every old person. I just hope not. Because finding an old person on any trip gives us youngster a sense of determination and energy.

And of course, travelling is all about feeling enthusiastic!
