8 Hair Care Tips You Can Do at Home Without Expensive Products

If it's about your hair, then you should take care!!!
Hair adds to your beauty amazingly. But hair care is needed to make best of your hair style. Long hair, thick hair, dandruff free and shiny hair doesn't require costly products. They just need your care.

By following these steps, it will be quite easy to care your hair.

1. Rinse and condition in cold water

Use cold water to condition and wash your hair. Cold water is best suited for conditioning. Also, no matter what your hair type, the hair needs moisture to stay frizz free. Because hot water can strip the hair of natural oils, moisture escapes the hair shaft and results in frizz.

2. Keep away heating tools

As charm for getting different hair style is increasing, heating tools are used. But using tools weaken your hair and create issues after some time. So you must try to avoid the use of any such tool at most possible.

3. Sleep on a silk pillowcase

Silk pillowcases have been likened to anti-aging products, and are often considered to improve your hair's health while being hypoallergenic temperature regulators that also moisturize your face.

4. Coconut oil helps retain moisture

Coconut oil is rich in anti-microbial properties, lauric acid, and medium-chain fatty acids that strengthen hair, condition the scalp, and help to regrow hair.

5. Try not to brush your hair when it's wet

When hair is wet it is especially vulnerable to damage. Water weakens the weakest bonds within strands of hair, removing 1/3 of its strength. The simple act of brushing can lead to dire consequences in this weakened state.

6. DON'T wash every day

Over washing can strip the hair of its natural oils, thus leaving it drier and more prone to breakage, according to The Huffington Post. It fades color faster.

7. Don't wrap your hair like a turban after washing

Quit the turban habit and you’ll see a lot less of those hair fall, PLUS more natural lift at your roots. The weight of the towel is pulling at your roots and causing breakage, especially since you’re wrapping it when it’s wet and at its most vulnerable.
Use a towel to gently squeeze off excess water and then let your hair air-dry instead.

8. If you swim a lot, care for hair

Wet your hair thoroughly before you go into any ocean or pool. Your strands will drink up the fresh water giving it way less room to invite that chlorine or salt water in. Grab extra virgin coconut oil and apply a generous amount to your strands. Try to do this at least 1 hour before your swim. Get a clarifying shampoo. Use it immediately after swimming because you don’t want to leave the chlorine or salt just sitting there. Clarifying shampoo is the only way to remove deep-down dirt and build up.
