A unique initiative by UP Govt to bring in Social Goodwill in the society

The recent efforts of the Uttar Pradesh government towards achieving social goodwill within the state are worth mentioning. These unique efforts that have been undertaken by the UP government will surely bring in social development and equanimity among all the citizens. It will also lead to the social growth and development of the country on the whole. This unique initiative by the UP government involves two major recent events that include setting up of the Bhajan Sandhya Amphitheatre in Ayodhya and inauguration of the Haj House in Ghaziabad. This has been possible due to the continuous efforts of the Hon. Chief Minister Shri Akhilesh Yadav.

Recently, the building of Ala Hazrat Haj House was inaugurated in Ghaziabad by UP CM Akhilesh Yadav. This Haj House would be serving as a transit cum facilitation point for all the Haj pilgrims from various parts of the state. The Haj House is a seven storied building and has been constructed off the GT Road lying on the banks of Hindon River in Ghaziabad. It has been constructed on four acres of land at a cost of Rs. 51 crore. On this auspicious occasion, UP CM Akhilesh Yadav also delivered a speech stating that how this building would be helpful in imparting coaching and training facilities so as to generate various employment opportunities for both meritorious and poor students. This Haj House every year would be benefiting the Haj pilgrims for a little more than a month; for the rest of the time, it would be used as a training centre for students. The Haj House can accommodate 8 to 10 thousand pilgrims at a time. During their stay, they also get proper facilities like banking, passport, visa, and food facilities.

Elaborate security arrangements had been made by the district police so that nothing gets hampered during this occasion. A public meeting was addressed by UP CM Akhilesh Yadav after inaugurating the building with the push of a button. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also provided certificates to the beneficiaries of the Samajwadi Pension Scheme, 1500 bicycles were distributed among the laborers, 31 tricycles to physically challenged person as well as distributed laptops to 413 meritorious students. An amount of Rs. 30 lakhs was given to the people under the Samajwadi Pension scheme.

Another recent event that has been undertaken by the government and that marks the development of the social goodwill is the setting up of the Bhajan Sandhya amphitheatre in Ayodhya. It has been decided that the foundation stone would be laid off the world’s tallest temple in Mathura, ‘Bhajan Sandhya’ amphitheatre for pilgrims in Ayodhya. The cost involved in its construction is about 14 crore 78 lakhs.

Many pilgrims from all over the country come and visit Ayodhya. So in order that these pilgrims sit together at a common place and chant the spiritual songs, the Bhajan Sandhya amphitheatre will be very useful as well as a necessity. At a time 5000 people can occupy the Bhajan Sandhya. Many public facilities have also been provided for all those pilgrims who will be visiting the amphitheatre. All the latest technologies have been involved in its construction and also one huge auditorium would be constructed for special purpose occasions.

We find that the UP government has taken many steps to introduce social goodwill among the citizens, keeping in mind the social growth and equanimity. These two unique initiatives by the government are sure to bring a change in the society that will be helpful in the long run. Both the establishment of the Haj House in Ghaziabad and construction of the Bhajan Sandhya amphitheatre in Ayodhya is a social contribution in its own ways.
