1. Maleficent
She didn't just gift herself the title of Mistress of all Evil, you know. She picked up a few things along the way. Let's talk about the color scheme- I can assure you that pale blue-green complexion is not easy to work with (just ask my stylist).
Nevertheless, the Sleeping Beauty villain finds a sweet spot in her trademark black and purple robe. And to complement her sleek, unreal cheekbones- blood red lipstick and lavender eye makeup (not to ignore her fabulous hair updo, but, unfortunately, we can't all have horns like those).
Lesson learned- Whatever the skin tone, black and purple won't let you down. Mysterious and sexy.
2. Cruella De Vil

A delicious twist on our everyday black and white, she works a fur coat like she was born to. She was obviously insane 'cause she later tried to skin puppies for coats- couldn't anyone tell her faux works just as well? Such a waste.
And don't get me started on her hair. Half black, half white- a little bold for some, but The Voice's young Melanie Martinez totally pulled it off with style, and someone else probably will too. I know that I absolutely ADORE it.
Lesson learned- Spots. Faux fur. Enough said.

A one-shoulder dress coupled with fringes may not be the weapon of choice for fashionistas today, maybe even a complete no-no, but this Disney princess pulls it off. And how!
Earrings aren't her thing but statement jewelry sure is. The heirloom turquoise/crystal/something necklace is THE perfect accessory.
Not to mention her sleek, no-fuss hairdo that has me frothing at the mouth with jealousy.
Lesson learned- More is more. Obviously.
4. Tiana

No frill dresses with aprons, sparkly bodycon cocktail dresses and OTT nature inspired wedding gowns aptly define her style, I think. Let's not forget green and mucus-y (because it's NOT slime- frogs secrete mucus, genius).
Her most successful look? The white sequined cocktail dress (with the giant side-slit and feather boa) from the restaurant dream/song sequence.
That, coupled with simple pearl studs and a gelled back hairdo definitely spells red carpet worthy. No doubts.
Lesson learned- Tiana is everything. Shout it from the mountaintops.
